Pahansila-Davis Project at Ambalangoda

Pahansila has made the basic arrangements to start free English and Mathematics classes in Ambalangoda area with generous sponsorship of Mr. Kelley Davis. A main focus of this project is to help the Tsunami-affected students.

Supervisor:

Mrs. Anjani Karunarate: Senior Lecturer at the Department of Botany, University of Peradeniya. Mrs. Karunaratne is a supervisor of several students sponsored under Pahansila Urbana-Champaign chapter and Toronto chapter.

Coordinator:

Mr. Sarath C. Vitharana: Deputy Principal of the Peraliya Sri Jinarathana Maha Vidyalaya, Telwatte.

English Teacher:

Mr. Sarath Ranasinghe: Mr. Ranasinghe works as a In-service advisor for English attached to the Ambalangoda Education Department. He has earned a BA degree and a Diploma in Education for teaching English. He is also a visiting lecturer in English at the Open University of Sri Lanka.
