Pahansila started collaboration with the United Nations Association of Sri Lanka (UNASL) to provide scholarships to several deserving students. At present Pahansila Interim committee supports 2 such students recommended by UNASL and 4 projects were completed during 2007m- 2009. Out of these, 5 scholarships were awarded to tsunami affected students. These students are identified through study groups conducted by UNASL in Southern Sri Lankan schools.

Progress of the projects are monitored by the Principals of the schools and UNASL helps Pahansila with coordinating these projects.
